You can offer goods and exhibits for sale to visitors at the Fair, taking payment is the responsibility of the fairs management/staff. You are responsible for being at your stand to advise and help buyers (sales staff can be hired from IAF by the Artist –if you wish to use this service then please contact the Fair Organiser).

Methods of Sale:

no delivery - payment is taken in full at the fair, the art is wrapped and then taken away by the buyer.

delivery - a deposit of 50% is paid at the fair and then the remaining 50% is paid directly to the artist
by the buyer once delivery has taken place. The artist is responsible for organising the delivery.

Because we are offering the stands at a sponsored rate, IAF take a commission on works sold. As we are a non-for profit this goes back into being able to organise another fair the following year to support independent artists. You need to be aware of these costs so you can price your works for sale appropriately for our corporate guests and the public.

We take the total sale payment less 30% commission plus VAT (added to the 30% commission only) and Credit Card Charges (3 % only if the buyer uses a credit card to purchase). If a sale is made in the absence of the artist, or someone representing the artist by IAF, we then take a 50% commission. Last year we received feedback from buyers who said if the artist was absent they were less likely to want to buy or contact the artist after the show. Therefore you need to be present to get the most out of the show.
